Written by Pulsa Sensor | Nov 29, 2023 8:27:49 AM

Pulsa puts real-time intelligence at your fingertips; ordered, filtered, notated and displayed in exactly the way you need to work. We're always working to move your business forward.

Caring for your customers and running an efficient business is job one for you. You might think you invested in Pulsa for precise inventory measurement and monitoring, but we want you to shift that perception because that was just the beginning, Pulsa is much more. The team behind the Pulsa platform works to deeply understand customers like you and your business challenges and we're obsessed with building a platform that enables your team to do what they do best, but better and faster. Here we give you a peek at how we're working hard to help your business move the needle in meaningful ways.

New features, always growing

Keeping software fresh takes more than just cosmetic updates. A robust platform provides new features and value on an ongoing basis. To that end, Pulsa recently launched its Notes and Images feature, which lets your team members attach text notes and even photos to inventory assets and locations in the field. This information can save many costly hours of confusion for installers and technicians. Says Chris McBride, Bulk Gas Division Manager for Alabama-based Young Welding Supply, “Notes and Images is an important feature for us. Sometimes we need to place a Pulsa Gateway in a place that isn’t near a tank, Now I can make a note to remember where it is, or to make it easier for the technician to find it.”

Pulsa’s latest feature, Tasks, moves gas telemetry beyond asset monitoring into active operational assistance. With Tasks you can now seamlessly assign and track work for your field technicians and drivers, ensuring tasks are completed swiftly.  As an example, Tasks enables you to take the real-time data points that Pulsa collects and translate them into action items with a couple of clicks. i.e. When a dispatcher sees a sensor reading from a tank that is 15% full, they can easily turn that into a trackable action item that conveys its time to refill to 100%. Tasks can be assigned to any relevant team members along with a description, due date, and priority level indicated. It's the ultimate solution for all your to-dos, and it's not limited to Pulsa-related activities, use it for everything.

"We’re excited to extend the Pulsa platform to provide even more value for our customers,” says Pulsa CEO David Wiens. “For a truly best-of-breed telemetry system, it’s not enough to offer precision hardware and software that delivers the most accurate and timely data. It’s about providing tools that allow customers to easily act on that data. The new Tasks feature, along with Notes and Images, allows customers to provide detailed, actionable communications that will move their businesses forward in a meaningful way.”

Good user experience matters

When it comes to business applications, one of the most overlooked aspects of software design is the ease of the user experience. Even the most powerful features are compromised when it’s too hard to use them, or in some cases, even find them. Pulsa prides itself on the most modern, intuitive user experience in gas telemetry systems, and the platform is always growing with new features and enhancements.

The best apps win

Mobile UI design has reached a level of maturity; we have common expectations of where to find menus, how to sort and filter, and which colors indicate good or bad. When software works smoothly with this app “grammar,” we call it a good UI. When a good UI helps users get the most out of the software, we call it good UX, user experience. At Pulsa, we see good UI/UX as being vital– it’s where the rubber meets the road, how customers like you interact with the platform.

The Pulsa Dashboard – whether used on a desktop or a mobile phone – makes it immediately easy for team members to see meaningful data and act upon it. The interface quickly becomes second nature even to new users. While other telemetry systems might feel like something left over from the days of Microsoft DOS, Pulsa offers a comfortable, graphical user experience that makes it easier to get more things done. Says Marlana Harris, Bulk Dispatch Supervisor for Idaho-based Norco, “We prefer having Pulsa on our tanks because the user interface is much better than other options, and Pulsa is the only telemetry solution that provides live readings throughout the day.”

Pulsa is committed to ongoing enhancements and new features that bring more value to your business. Expect your investment in Pulsa to continue to pay off as the platform continues to evolve.
